Rules
Our goal is to force people to make high quality releases. Matter of fact is that, some of the products could be eliminated by Nightshift Crew due to it's lack of quality.
Basic Rules
- Foreign entries are allowed via remote submission or (if its smaller than 1 Megabytes) email.
- DEAD-LINE for the remote submission is Thursday March 1, 2007
- Your stuff must run on our compo machine(s) configuration.
- Do not make propaganda for racism, politics or show child pron.
- Please do not use copyrighted material & make it free of third party rights unless you have a legal license to use otherwise you know what we'll do!
- Organization has the rights to skip or stop some boring parts or very long parts during presentation of your stuff.
- There is a pre-elimination. If it is not good enough to compete, organisation could cancel it or disqualify.
- Categories can be change due to amount of entries or split to a sub-category. We are hoping to have less category but more quality productions to pump the challange up!
- Each person can compete in a category with a single production but can also join in multiple categories.
- If you have different platform rather then C64, Amiga ore PC, you must bring your platform with you or need to create a video file ( mpg1,mpg2,avi / 768x576 max). DEAD-LINE for this kind of entry is an hour before the related compo.
Delivery for C64, AmigA & Console
- Please deliver you stuff with its own media. Commodore 64 entries should be delivered via 5.25" Floppy. Amiga is same. ( 3.5" ). If your release fit to PC-Formated 3.5", then deliver it like that. If its bigger than a floppy, use Flash-Disk or SD/MMC or CD.
- Also, don't forget to transfer you stuff ( like .d64 / .adf ) and upload it to Party-Intranet system.

According to Sponsorship interviews, there could be more categories in the future. Please keep tracking this page. Still more to come!
ASCI / ANSI
- Maximum Size : 80 x 1024
- Only “AmigA Style” allowed!
- Make it Acidview friendly & use TOPAZ font!
- 4 working stages for ANSI entries.

Pixel Graphix in 8 colors Compo
- No platform limitation.
- You have minimum 100 x 100 pixel canvas!, if you can, paint bigger!
- Fixed 8 colors & theme will be announced by Organization!
- You have one hour to complete. Between 15:00 - 16:00 on Saturday

Pixel Graphics Compo
- Yeah! only pixel allowed. No size limitation
- No platform limitation. All formats will challange in same category. (C64, Amiga, PC etc...)
- IFF, GIF, PCX allowed, C64 graphics ( ANY FORMAT! ) has to be work with RUN
- Any other platforms like Spectrum, Amstrad etc.., author has to provide its emulator + executable file
- Artists should have to provide 4 workstage files.

Freestyle Graphics Compo
- No style/techinque limitation. If you are pixel artist its better for you to enter “Pixel Graphics” compo!
- No platform limitation. All formats will challange in same category. (C64, Amiga, PC etc...)

Freestyle Music Compo
- No platform limitation.
- Maximum play time is 3 minutes.
- Commodore 64 tunes has to be work with RUN
- For new-skool : 4 Megabytes maximum ( mp3 / ogg ) minimum 160 Kbps
- For old-skool / tracked : xm / mod / s3m / it / rns allowed, maximum 1 Megabytes compressed ( zip / rar size )

Combined Game Compo
- No size limitation.
- No platform limitation.
- One of the game crew should have to present and play the game for maximum 4 minutes. Also on request, presenter can use microphone to explain the game.

Browser/Scripting Compo (Html/Flash)
- Maximum file size is 4 Megabytes (un-compressed)
- Play time is 3 minutes
- Html / Javascript / CSS and Adobe Flash SWF allowed
- All entries must run via “Index.html”
- Compo Machine has Firefox 2.0.0.1 / Opera 9.10 and IE 7.0 and Flash Player 9.0.16.0 installed

- Computer animations & short-films are allowed
- Play time is 4 minutes
- Must be video file ( mpg1 / mpg2 / avi ), 720 x 576 / 768 x 576 pixels

Real Wild Compo (Mobile/Handheld/Other)
- No platform limitation. ( Mobile , PDA , PS1 / PS2 / PSP / X-BOX / GBA etc... )
- No size limitation.
- Play time is 4 minutes
- You must show the demo while running on its original hardware!
- You must provide video version of the demo.

Combined Demo Compo
- No size limitation. All sizes like 256b, 4k or 64k will challange in same category.
- No platform limitation. C64, Amiga, PC and others will challange in same category
- Maximum duration is 5 minutes. If its longer than 5 mins, will not be disqualified but will be cutted.
- Full animation productions can not be enter the compo.
- Please try to provide video version if you can. In case of extreme hardware requirements.

Here is the list of our machines. PC will be announced later. We have a chance to put Interl Core2 Duo via Shader Model 4.0 gfx card + huge ram! Also, if you are planning to release an Amiga demo which needs 060 or else, please get in touch with us! We have hacked DTV, if you want to make something special for it, please let us know!
